Our Story
It began, as many good Montana ideas do, on horseback.
One afternoon, while riding together through the mountains, friends Ally Wold and Julie Lisk found themselves talking about work, family, and the kind of experiences that bring people together. Both are therapists in Big Sky, where they've dedicated their careers to supporting others through life's challenges. They love the work they do, but they also found themselves dreaming about creating something that felt a little lighter—something rooted in joy, connection, and the place they call home.
The conversation lingered. They talked about it off and on for nearly a year.

That care extends to every member of the Barnyard Bubbly team, including the four-legged ones. Our miniature ponies love attention and meeting new people, but their well-being always comes first. Every event is thoughtfully scheduled around their comfort, with plenty of time to rest, ensuring they remain happy, healthy, and excited to greet the next group of guests.
Whether they're helping celebrate a wedding, birthday, community gathering, or just an afternoon worth remembering, our hope is simple: to bring people together through an experience that feels unmistakably Montana—authentic, welcoming, and just a little bit magical.
